Agincourt

Previously released under the moniker "New Vineyard Dry Red No.1" but now acknowledged as a worthy foil to its eponymous cohort. Consistently shows more upfront fruit, richness, approachability and generosity in its youth than the Dry Red No.1. Although vinified under the same practices as the No.1 albeit minus the malbec and petit verdot and 20 odd years of vine age, it reveals its own identity and characteristics that are inextricably linked to its different site. Acts as a foil to the more restrained austerity of the No.1.
