Yarra Yering Wine

Welcome to our online shopping site. Select any of the wines at left to view details, availability, price and to make your purchase.

Our wines are made to age and will repay cellaring under the appropriate conditions. We use the highest quality cork we can source and suffer less than 1% of bottles affected by cork taint. If you are unlucky enough to open a wine with this problem please reseal it and return it to us immediately. We will replace any corked wine as close to the vintage as is possible, however the wine must be returned to us for assessment.

  • Sourced exclusively from the 1974 planted block of shiraz at the western-most extremity of the vineyard. 100% shiraz. Equipoise to the No. 2. Drawn from soils with a higher clay base than the No. 2 thus wines generally more brooding and masculine...

Carrodus Wines

  • Sourced from a distinct patch of selected old vine stock which reflect the best expression of these varieties to be grown on the Yarra Valley property.

  • More Pomerol than Padthaway, this shatters perceptions of Australian merlot as eminently unchallenging, one-dimensional and wholly unremarkable. Absorbs its 100% new oak into its fabric and carries its red fruits and silky tannins through...

  • Contrary to wide-held belief, viognier CAN age, particularly when winemaking addresses its varietal peculiarities rather than applying a blanket approach across the full white variety spectrum. Plays to the strengths of the variety, chasing...
