99 Points for 2015 Dry Red Wine No.1

Australia’s best wines, winemakers and wineries were revealed last night at the 5th annual Halliday Wine Companion Awards and we’re pleased to say that Yarra Yering has once again been placed amongst some of this countries finest.

All fourteen of the 2015 vintage Yarra Yering wines have scored above the 94 point mark, most notably the 2015 Dry Red Wine No.1 being awarded an outstanding 99 Points.

After taking out the 2017 Halliday Winemaker of the Year award, Yarra Yering winemaker Sarah Crowe was pleased with the performance of the 2015 vintage.

“It’s fantastic to see that we are maintaining such an elevated standard with our 2015 vintage wines. Yarra Yering has had it’s busiest year on record and we are continually striving to build on what has been created throughout the history of the Yarra Yering brand.”

Our ‘sister brand’ Warramate Wines also impressed the judges this year with all five current release wines scoring above 90 points, with the 2015 Warramate Chardonnay and 2015 Warramate Cabernet Sauvignon both scoring 95 points.
