Aroma & Bouquet: All lemons and limes with a hint of perfumed talcum powder.
Palate: Semillon fruit in its purest form conjuring up an image of wet stone. Dominated by a fruit bowl of tangy citrus flesh, pith and peel. The chalky tannin profile sits with the green apple crunchy acid that drives the palate.
Hand harvested and whole bunch pressed for the purest juice. A cool fermentation with neutral yeast to preserve aromatics. All completed in stainless steel tank and bottled early to capture its vibrancy and freshness.

Vines: Fruit for this wine is grown on a 26 year old dry grown block south of Underhill Vineyard although ever so slightly higher in elevation.
Cellaring:An energetic and vibrant young wine, perfect with seafood with its lemony appeal. The magic of this variety to mature in bottle into a completely different wine with beeswax, honey and toasty complexity is well documented.
Vintage 2017: A late start to harvest due to good rainfall and a cool to mild summer without any heat spikes to advance ripeness. Picking lasted 10 weeks at a leisurely pace delivering grapes with beautiful flavour development coupled and good acid retention.
